Petrotech’s path to glory was chalked out in 1995 when the first conference was held with an overwhelming response. Over the years it has grown in leaps and bounds and emerged as the leading platform for discussing issues, concerns, and strategies in the global hydrocarbon industry. Since its inception, eight Petrotech conferences and exhibitions have been held so far, with each setting a higher benchmark. Out of which 5 have been organized by ONGC and 3 by IOCL under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Petrotech Society.
The series of Petrotech conferences have gathered momentum and has emerged as a movement uniting the upstream, midstream and the downstream sectors in their quest for securing India’s energy needs and promoting energy independence. Each Petrotech conference has been unique in its approach while ubiquitous in its aim to provide cleaner, greener and sustainable energy. It has been able to garner an enviable reputation in the international circles as one of the coveted forums for the global hydrocarbon industry by giving an impetus to pioneering technology in this field.
Petrotech while exploring innovative means to drive the energy economics has laid emphasis on providing sustainable energy and has given a hand to many green causes. Thus, through its humane endeavours, it has not only increased in its popularity and reach but has endeared itself in the hearts of the masses. Hence, Petrotech 2010 will not only be a culmination of more than a glorious decade of energy initiative but it promises to be enriched energy bonanza, not to be missed.
