The Rooftop of Taj, Delhi witnessed the coming together of giants, paving way for a top class exhibition. The contract signing ceremony on 17th December 2009 for Petrotech 2010 Exhibition between ONGC and ITE(JV) Ltd, UK was off to a flying start with Mr. Oliver Harris, Director-Business Development, ITE(JV) felicitating the board of directors of ONGC with bouquet of flowers.
The audio-visual presentation tracing the glorious decade of Petrotech exhibitions was followed by welcome address by Mr. A. K Hazarika, Director (Onshore) & Chairman Exhibition Committee, Petrotech 2010 under whose able stewardship the Petrotech 2010 exhibition would scale newer heights. He reaffirmed that Petrotech 2010 Exhibition would be a world class event which would attract participation from all corners of the globe. Keeping in tune with the international concerns for global warming, an attempt is being made to map the carbon footprints and make this exhibition a carbon neutral event.
Mr. Oliver Harris promised that his company- ITE( JV), a leading organizer of trade exhibitions and conferences would make all efforts to meet the expectations. He reiterated that Petrotech 2010 Exhibition cashing in on his firm’s expertise would be bigger in scope and wider in reach.
Mr. R. S Sharma, CMD, ONGC & Chairman Steering Committee, Petrotech 2010 graced the occasion with his words of wisdom. He stated that the countdown has begun and that the onus of making this event a success lies on the joint efforts of everyone involved. He hoped that ITE( JV) would make the exhibition a resounding success as it would set the tone for the rest of the Petrotech conference. He also expressed his happiness in noting that the Petrotech exhibitions have grown in geometrical progression. Wishing everyone the very best, he expressed his faith that the upcoming event would be another feather in the cap of Oil & Gas Industry of India.
The official signing of agreement by Mr. Oliver Harris and Mr. A. K Hazarika was accompanied by incessant clapping from hopeful hands, the echoes of which ascertained the future success of the Petrotech 2010 exhibition.

Amidst much cheering, the grand ceremony was drawn to a close by the vote of thanks presented by Mr. Abhay Kalyankar, Coordinator- Exhibition Committee, Petrotech - 2010. And the team is all geared up to work together to make Petrotech 2010 a top ranking global event par excellence.
