Conference

Each PETROTECH conference and exhibition has been themed specifically to reflect the key issues affecting the industry and the path that leads to growth in the near future. The theme for PETROTECH-2012 is 'Hydrocarbon and Beyond: Changing Landscape’. India is one of the largest emerging energy markets in the Asia-Pacific, and the energy needs are only expected to go up by the year 2025. Through PETROTECH-2012, we look forward to innovative and responsible approach to the industry that would help as broaden the reach and scope of betterment of the industry.

ARCHITECTURE

Language

English is the official language of the Conference.

Theme Sessions

Sessions are addressed by the Senior Ministers of the Government of India and are open to all delegates.

Plenary Sessions

Sessions are addressed by the leaders of the global hydrocarbon industry and are open to all delegates.

Ministerial Discussions

These discussions shall centre on policy issues related to inter-country cooperation. Participation in these discussions is by invitation only.

Special Interactive Group Meetings

These meetings would brainstorm various strategies and policies that can be brought into consideration for international cooperation, technological development and joint ventures in energy-related areas. Senior Government officials, policy makers, CEOs, heads of delegations and other decision-makers shall take part in these meetings. Participation is by invitation only.

Technical Sessions

These sessions shall cover the latest technological happenings in downstream, midstream and upstream areas.

Poster Sessions

Poster Sessions provide an opportunity to the participants to have ‘one-to-one’ discussions with the authors.
